A strong start to the motorsport season
SPS automotive performance has kicked off the 2025 motorsports season with strong results. The class victory at the legendary Bathurst 12 Hour in Australia in the #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3 under the entry Heart of Racing by SPS is, of course, the highlight of the young season. Ian James, Ross Gunn and Zacharie Robicon beat their competitors with ease and were able to celebrate class victory in the bronze category after coming second last year..
At the 24h Dubai at the beginning of January, Hannah Grisham and Zacharie Robicon made their debut in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and immediately attracted attention with good performances. Together with their teammates Ian James and Gray Newell, the quartet, also under the entry Heart of Racing by SPS, finished fourth in their class at their first attempt.
Ian James, Gray Newell and Hannah Grisham pulled off a surprise victory at the 12H Mugello under extremely difficult conditions. The trio not only took a commanding class victory in the GT3-AM with the #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3, but also finished the race in an excellent second place overall.
SPS automotive performance enters two cars in the international GT Open
SPS automotive performance will be competing in the International GT Open again in the 2025 season. Two Mercedes-AMG GT3s from the Willsbach-based team will be racing for victories and points in the PROAM class. Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler (both SUI) will be at the wheel of the #54 car, while Valentin Pierburg (GER) and Dominik Baumann (AUT) will share driving duties in the #20 sister car.

First drive in the Bugatti Bolide
At the beginning of March, the SPS automotive performance team had the honor of taking delivery of one of the first Bugatti Bolides. The new super sports car was immediately put through its paces on the Paul Ricard circuit. The W16 engine, with an output of 1176 kW (1600 hp) thrilled both our customer and the entire team.
AMG ONE: F1 technology for the road
The AMG ONE offers pure racing technology for the road. Mercedes-AMG has installed the powertrain of a Formula 1 car in the AMG ONE. The super sports car from Affalterbach thus offers a system output of 1063 hp. Mercedes-AMG had to adapt the complex technology from Formula One for a road vehicle. New video of the Porsche 964 restomod
In our classic department, a Porsche 964 is nearing completion as a restomod. The third generation of the Porsche 911 arrived on the market in 1989 and has now been both completely restored from the bottom up and modified according to customer requirements in our workshop.
