SPS automotive performance starts at the Sarthe
SPS automotive performance will enter a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Michelin Le Mans Cup as part of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. In further cooperation with The Heart of Racing, Gray Newell (USA) and Valentin Pierburg (GER) will take a seat in the cockpit of starting number 25.
Next top finish for SPS automotive performance at Mugello
The #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3 run by SPS automotive performance under the Heart of Racing by SPS banner finished fourth in the GT3-AM category at the 12H Mugello. Coming from the pit lane, Ian James (GBR), Gray Newell (USA) and Roman de Angelis (CAN) started a strong fight-back and narrowly missed out on the class podium at the start of the European racing season.
SPS automotive performance as a guest in Italy
After its successful appearance in 2023, SPS automotive performance will return to the 12H Mugello. The #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3 will once again be on the chase for class victory under the Heart of Racing by SPS banner with drivers Ian James (GBR), Roman de Angelis (CAN) and Gray Newell (USA).
SPS automotive performance with two Mercedes-AMG GT3s in the International GT Open
SPS automotive performance is once again represented in the 2024 International GT Open with two Mercedes-AMG GT3s. The team from Obersulm is relying on continuity in the popular racing series. Mikaeel Pitamber (RSA) and Dominik Baumann (AUT) will be fighting for points in the #20 Mercedes-AMG GT3, as they did last year. Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler (both SUI) will once again compete in the sister car with starting number 54.
Class podium at Bathurst debut for SPS automotive performance
In its first appearance at the Bathurst 12 Hour, SPS automotive performance secured a podium finish in the Pro-Am class. Ian James (GBR), Alex Riberas (ESP) and Ross Gunn (GBR) drove the #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3 under the Heart of Racing by SPS banner to second place in their category in an eventful race.
Top five finish for SPS automotive performance in Dubai
SPS automotive performance secured a top-five result at the 24H Dubai to kick off the 2024 season. The #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Gray Newell (USA), Darren Turner (GBR), Daniel Mancinelli (ITA) and Pierre Kleinubing (BRA) finished fifth in the GT3 Pro-Am category under the Heart of Racing by SPS entry.
